Sampling SmearS
Our sampling smear disks provide an effective and convenient means of taking samples in areas contaminated by radioactivity.
Each disk has a support that makes it more rigid when taking a sample.
In the 750 pack, each smear is attached to a registration card that can be used for:
- Identify each smear
- Avoid cross-contamination of smears
- Transfer the smear to the counting system
- Store the smear until it is eliminated
The smears are cloth discs measuring 4.4 cm in diameter, packaged in boxes of 750 (with registration card) or 2500 units (bulk package.)
