Depuis lors, nous avons con\u00e7u et construit plus d&rsquo;un syst\u00e8me de blindage utilisant cette nouvelle capacit\u00e9. Le jour est enfin venu o\u00f9 nous pouvons montrer comment la simulation se compare au monde r\u00e9el.<\/p>\n<p>Nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 charg\u00e9s de construire un ensemble complet de blindage en caisson sec pour une centrale BWR qui n&rsquo;avait jamais effectu\u00e9 de campagne en caisson sec auparavant et qui utilisait un syst\u00e8me de stockage qui n&rsquo;avait jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 dans une centrale BWR auparavant. Il y a eu beaucoup de premi\u00e8res, mais personne n&rsquo;acceptait cela comme une excuse. Cette campagne devait permettre de r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts et de respecter le calendrier pr\u00e9vu.<\/p>\n<p>Notre partie du projet comprenait une cloche de blindage avec un bouclier de plancher int\u00e9gr\u00e9 (une autre premi\u00e8re), un bouclier de couvercle et un bouclier d&rsquo;espace annulaire. Le d\u00e9fi de la conception \u00e9tait de travailler dans une limite de poids donn\u00e9e et de fournir la r\u00e9duction de dose maximale possible sans ajouter de poids \u00e0 la plate-forme de travail. C&rsquo;\u00e9tait l&rsquo;occasion id\u00e9ale de tester notre nouvel outil et le premier projet \u00e0 le faire.<\/p>\n<p>La simulation fonctionne en introduisant un spectre gamma\/neutron ainsi que la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie et la composition chimique de chaque mat\u00e9riau pr\u00e9sent. Le calcul suivant vous permet de voir le d\u00e9bit de dose pr\u00e9vu en tout point de l&rsquo;espace. Un certain nombre de configurations de blindage diff\u00e9rentes sont analys\u00e9es jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce que la meilleure combinaison de mat\u00e9riaux et de g\u00e9om\u00e9trie soit trouv\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Nous sommes tr\u00e8s heureux de dire que le blindage a \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s bien accueilli, qu&rsquo;il a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en \u0153uvre avec succ\u00e8s et qu&rsquo;il a donn\u00e9 de meilleurs r\u00e9sultats que pr\u00e9vu. Nous sommes \u00e9galement tr\u00e8s heureux d&rsquo;annoncer que la pr\u00e9cision de notre outil de simulation a \u00e9t\u00e9 valid\u00e9e et que les pr\u00e9visions sont prudentes (la r\u00e9duction r\u00e9elle est sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 l&rsquo;estimation).
